HI, I’M TOM DIESEL.

I started my musical journey in Australia, where I was classically trained in piano and saxophone. From there I picked up guitar, bass, drums — pretty much any instrument I could get my hands on. In my late teens I was deep in the jazz scene on the east coast of Australia, before spending a year and a half playing on cruise ships off the west coast of America.

In 2007 I opened my first recording studio in Newcastle, Australia, then a second one in Sydney in 2011. I moved to London in 2015 and opened another studio there, before finally settling between London and Dubai in 2025.

Along the way I’ve toured the world as a session musician and music director — including work with the Australian Defence Force. I’ve written and produced for artists across the globe, and recorded in studios from Canada to Japan, America to Germany, Australia to the UAE.

These days, I spend my time between the UK, UAE, and Australia, performing in a series of signature one-of-a-kind live shows, both solo and with other artists, and burning late nights in the studio, doing my part to stem the tide of AI slop by creating creatively authentic music.
